Acting CEO, Investors' Circle
Suzanne is Acting CEO of Investors' Circle, the oldest and largest early stage impact investing circle in the US. She brings more than 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur, visionary, investor, and hands-on operational manager to her work. In the 1990s, Suzanne was the CEO of IEC, a 200-person e-learning and communications firm she and her partner grew and sold. During this time, she was the recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year and Woman of the Year award. Since selling IEC, Suzanne has been an active angel investor, philanthropist, and board member, has played leadership roles in a variety of companies and projects and is an active member of Investor’s Circle, Women Donors Network, and Social Venture Network. Suzanne has board positions on several nonprofit and for-profit ventures including the newly formed Confluence Philanthropy. She is a founding member and on the investment committee of the Patient Capital Collaborative, a US-based early stage social impact investment fund. Suzanne is also a Catto Fellow at the Aspen Institute and is a frequent emcee, speaker, and moderator on social impact investment. She is based in London, and Investors' Circle is based San Francisco, California.
